As a Technical Support Assistant, you will work within Connections Projects EPN based in our Bury St Edmunds office, reporting to the Lead Design Engineer. You will be responsible for providing quotations for connection to UKPN's network, assessing customer requirements, identifying points of connection, producing estimates and work packs, and supporting the project designers with more complex projects. You will receive a competitive salary of £37,165 and a bonus of 3%, as well as a range of benefits such as generous personal pension plan, tenancy loan deposit scheme, tax efficient benefits, season ticket loan, occupational health support, discounted access to sports and social clubs, employee assistance programme, and more. You will also have the opportunity to work in a blended mode, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote after a probationary period of 6 months. To be eligible for this role, you need to have or be willing to undertake a City & Guilds 232 in Electrical Engineering qualification, have knowledge of the Connections business processes, understand current Standards and Licence Conditions, have experience working in an office based environment using Microsoft packages, SAP and Netmap, and be customer focused with experience interpreting and responding to customer requests at all levels, internally and externally.
