Our client, a specialist private markets alternatives investment manager is seeking a credit focused Middle Office Analyst to join their team in London. The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. As the Middle Office Senior Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in supporting Asset Managers by meticulously reviewing fund profit and loss accounts, calculating Net Asset Value (NAV), and ensuring seamless operations. Your expertise will be key in identifying potential issues and providing invaluable insights to drive performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze fund profit and loss accounts across asset classes using cutting-edge tools.
  • Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Reconcile final fund NAVs with fund administrators.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures and advise on currency hedging.
  • Review and reconcile records with custodians and prime brokers.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with administrators and pricing committees.
  • Maintain pricing governance and control standards.
Essential and Desired Experience:
  • Strong academic background BA/BSc minimum.
  • ACCA/ACA qualified with 2 years plus PQE ideally within an investment bank/manager.
  • Credit experience - mandatory.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills.
