About the Role

Splend is seeking a dynamic and proactive Talent and Onboarding Specialist to spearhead the recruitment and onboarding efforts that will support upcoming growth forecasts. This role, based out of our London City, Monument office is integral to Splend's growth strategy, ensuring that the right talent is brought on efficiently and effectively, and seamlessly integrated into the organization for maximum impact.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of talent management and employee onboarding strategies. They will take the lead on onboarding initiatives, and consistently innovate to meet evolving workforce dynamics.

You will be responsible for:
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies for top-tier candidates & use multi-channel approach for robust candidate pipeline.
  • Candidate Assessment: Implement rigorous screening and assessment methodologies. Conduct structured interviews, technical assessments, and reference checks
  • Onboarding Development: Design and implement tailored onboarding programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new hire integration
  • New Hire Support: Serve as dedicated support for new hires. Ensure smooth transition into Splend's culture and operations
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics for talent acquisition and onboarding. Continuously monitor recruitment metrics for improvement strategies.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in talent acquisition and recruitment, particularly in high-volume environments or within technical sales/customer support domains.
  • Strong understanding of modern recruitment techniques, tools, and technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future talent needs, identify sourcing strategies, and proactively build talent pipelines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
