Applications Support Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Applications Support Team Leader to join our dynamic B2C client based in Hampshire. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional support for customer-facing applications such as websites, eCommerce platforms, and booking portals, and have a proven track record of managing teams in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Application Support Analysts, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Manage day-to-day support operations for customer applications, including websites, eCommerce platforms, and booking portals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Infrastructure, and Customer Service to ensure smooth operations and swift resolution of technical issues.
  • Oversee and improve application monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization to enhance customer experience and reduce support incidents.
  • Provide technical guidance to your team, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on system performance and support metrics.
  • Collaborate with the internal IT and external vendor teams to ensure system changes and new features are thoroughly tested and deployed smoothly.

This is a maternity cover for an initial 6 month period but could extend to 9 or 12 months. The client is looking for someone who has supported customer applications and managed teams in the past.
