Demand Planner and Buyer – Forecasting/Buying/Demand
I’m working with an international business, based in beautiful Rossendale, as they expand their commercial and supply chain function. The role will be incredibly varied and require an individual who is comfortable working in a hybrid demand planning and buying role. You’ll initially work on creating an operational demand forecast model using their Demand Planning Software, reviewing sales data to identify patterns around seasonality and market trends. They use Netstock currently, but fully open to wider/broader demand planning software experience. You’ll act in a pivotal role between supply chain and sales, and ideally have experience of international buying. Solid experience of managing relationships with suppliers in South and East Asia, would be highly desirable. If you bring a blended skill set that includes demand/inventory management and buying/procurement, this is the ideal job for you. The role is office based in Rossendale and is paying £35,000 plus excellent benefits.
