Summary

We have an opening for a Temporary Data Entry Clerk to join our department. You will be office based and responsible for assisting the team's objectives in providing an effective data management service. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all physical documentation is scanned and digitally converted quickly and accurately onto the storage systems. You will be expected to take a proactive approach to digital filing processes and create an organized digital filing system.

This role can be flexible for Full or Part Time applicants.

Core Responsibilities

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems
  • Organise the HR digital filing system
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost and organise in appropriate folders
  • Discarding/shredding documents when required in accordance with official procedures
  • Secures and protects the privacy of documents
  • Any ad hoc administrative/office duties

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk
  • Integrity, discretion and respect of confidentiality and privacy
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good command of English both oral and written
  • Great attention to detail
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic office and administrative software such as MS Office
  • Experience working in an office setting
