What you’ll do
As an advanced apprentice, you’ll develop the specialist skills and knowledge you need to kick-start your career, through a blend of hands-on training and classroom learning.
You’ll get to apply your skills to real-life cutting-edge projects and learn from the brightest minds in the business, all while gaining recognised qualifications, equivalent to A Levels, NC, HNC or HND.

Entry requirements?
England and Wales:
~ Age 16+
~5+ GCSEs grade A*-C / 9-4, including English and Maths, as well as a Science subject for engineering or technical roles. Please note: some of our trade roles require 5+ GCSEs grade A*-E / 9-3. 

Scotland:
~5 National 4’s at Grade C or above, including English, Maths (excluding Application of Maths) & Science/Technical. 5 Group awards at National 4 including English and Maths (excluding Application of Maths) & Science or Technical subject.

Some roles may also require additional qualifications or UCAS points.
Please note: some roles at BAE Systems are subject to security and export control restrictions and your nationality or place of birth may limit the roles you can undertake.

What is the application process?
The stages of our application process include: a short online application. If you’re successful, you'll then complete an online assessment with interactive activities, and an on-demand video interview. The next stage is competency-based interview, either virtual or face-to-face.
