Verian (formerly Kantar Public) is one of the top tier social research agencies in the UK. We have around 150 specialist researchers working together to provide knowledge, evidence and insight that helps Government, the private sector and the Third Sector plan and care for society.

We are now looking for a Fixed Term Contractor to join our Behavioural and Communications Practice for 12 months period. In this role, you will support on quantitative research projects, working with client-service teams and internal operational teams to contribute to delivering work across our sector-leading government communications development and evaluation offer.

Within the Behavioural and Communications Practice we advise clients on the opportunities for behaviour change at all stages in the policy cycle and work on some of society's most pressing issues: providing insight into what influences behaviour; Manage and deliver multiple quantitative communications evaluation projects concurrently, ensuring efficient, profitable, high-quality delivery
Design high-quality questionnaires and other research materials
Contribute to reporting and presentations for varied senior audiences


Previous experience in a social or market research agency role
Proven project management and research experience – strong project handling skills and an ability to deliver quality work to time and budget
Interested in Government communications and behaviour change work – some experience in Government social research would be ideal but is not required
A real team player – interested in working with others to do great things and eager to learn from others in the team and support junior staff in their development journey
