Job Description

Resource Co-Ordinator

We are currently seeking a Resource Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in optimising our operations involving tower crane operatives and lifting teams. As a Resource Administrator, you will be responsible for the meticulous coordination and administration of our crane operators and lifting teams across various sites. Your role will be key in ensuring that our projects are staffed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Resource Manager to coordinate the daily allocation of tower crane operatives, slingers, signallers, and lifting teams to ensure placement based on project requirements and personnel skill sets.
  • Manage administrative tasks including the accurate completion of timesheets, maintaining personnel records, and processing related paperwork.
  • Monitor attendance and punctuality of staff, promptly arranging cover for absences due to sickness or other reasons to minimize disruption to project timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and site supervisors to align resources with changing project demands.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies among team members.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new staff as needed, including the onboarding process.
  • Handle logistical aspects of team deployments, including transportation and accommodation arrangements when necessary.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on resource allocation and team performance for upper management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed – essential
  • IT experience in Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Microsoft Office, Google Forms (desirable)
  • Have a proven hands-on attitude be flexible and adaptable.
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Gracious and friendly manner
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in sourcing potential candidates.
