It’s an amazing time to be joining Netflix as we continue to transform entertainment globally. Netflix is one of the world’s leading entertainment services with over 247 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Are you passionate about entertainment? Are you deeply knowledgeable about the world of film? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you keen to jump in and take on tasks big and small to get the job done? If these resonate with you, then this is a great opportunity to join a team that is spearheading publicity campaigns for films from the brightest filmmaking talent.

The Publicity Coordinator will work as part of the newly established UK + EMEA Film PR team, based in London with a degree of international travel required. The role will report to the Senior Manager / Pod Lead and will work closely with the pod’s Manager and Specialist. Read our culture memo to learn more about how we work at Netflix. Candidates would see this as an opportunity towards managing publicity campaigns.

THE OPPORTUNITY
It’s the chance to support the UK + EMEA Publicity team’s film initiative, who work alongside our global partners. Together, the team is changing the perception of Netflix films and how they should be enjoyed and celebrated, both externally with consumers and within the industry amongst filmmaking talent. It’s a chance to be a part of a growing, dynamic, exciting and fast-paced team who are passionate about film, innovation and creativity.

The Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the publicity team working on the Netflix scripted and documentary film slate, including both our UK and global titles that span across all genres. The UK + EMEA Film PR team is responsible for formulating and implementing strategy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and executing impactful campaigns in the UK and Ireland. In this expansive role you will provide a critical link working with local country teams across EMEA, and globally, in promoting film content on the service as well as delivering innovative, culturally relevant and creative publicity campaigns in the UK.
Tasks are focused on extensive and timely logistics. They will include but are not limited to:

Liaising with various external stakeholders such as global PR agencies, press, talent reps, plus internal executives and country publicists
Handling incoming press requests as/when needed including assigning screeners/setting up screenings; responding to enquiries; servicing assets
