What You'll Be Doing as the Production Manager Lead the production team: Ensure CNC operators are working to schedule and maximising efficiency. You'll be responsible for achieving production targets, improving performance, and driving continuous improvement across the shop floor. Foster a safety-first culture: Lead by example and ensure that health and safety standards are not only met but exceeded. You'll own accident investigations and ensure housekeeping standards are of the highest level. Drive customer focus: Ensure production is always aligned with customer needs and be the driving force behind delivering high-quality products on time. Cost management: Manage operating costs, keeping them within budget and forecast. This includes controlling labour, consumables, and reducing scrap costs to drive profitability. Develop and motivate the team: You'll provide training and development opportunities for CNC operators, ensuring they're fully engaged and skilled in their roles.What You'll Need to Apply for the Production Manager position: Experience in managing production teams in a CNC environment. An engineering background. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.What You'll Receive as the Production Manager A salary of up to £50,000, a pension contribution of up to 7.5%, 25 + 8 holidays, and life assurance x 5 salary.Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week.
