Key Account Manager

This Account Manager role would be the perfect opportunity an Key Account Manager looking for the next step in their career. Key Account Manager Profile

  • Experience retaining and growing current key accounts whilst researching and pitching for new business – working towards target turnover and invoice figures
  • Full understanding of margin reports, contributions, and account rebates
  • Capable of gaining full awareness of the following years sign off timelines and submitting quotes within this timeframe
  • Willing to drive new sales opportunities through existing and new accounts – new SKU’s, promotions, supplying stock over forecast, contingency planning, offering alternative solutions
  • Comfortable networking with contacts and developing business relationships across key categories in the form of regular customer visits (Buyer / Quality / Merchandiser)
  • Able to assist with growing the turnover of our existing export accounts in line with our target turnover, develop our trading relationship and better understand the customer and their needs
  • Capable of bringing on board marketing contributions through cross brand on pack promotions

Key Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Supporting the head of sales on the senior managements strategic plan
  • Ensure margin are signed off and improved during the season, where possible
  • Supporting accounts team, debit note recovery costs
  • Work closely with stock control team, ensuring an OTIF service to major accounts
  • Work in line with sales standards in order to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Set up and sign off of agreed quotes for the following years trading season whilst being able to undertake their own internal costings across a range of accessory SKU’s
