Axon Moore is partnering with a highly reputable and fast growing SME in the Preston area (Hybrid working) who are searching for an ambitious Financial Controller to join their high performing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven candidate to develop under the guidance from a notable Finance Director whilst managing a strong finance team of three. This is a highly visible and fast paced role and you will be key in supporting the successful delivery of the aspirational Financial Strategy over the next couple of years.
The successful Financial Controller will be:
Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Lead on key external relationships with key stakeholders, including external audit, payment processors and key suppliers
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
Review financial systems and implement changes required for growth
Manage internal controls of the business documenting the risks and associated policies
ACA/ACCA Qualified accountant (Ideally practice trained and looking for your 2 nd move)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights
