Experience, Qualifications, Training requirements: Experience in a similar role delivering Facilities Management and a Clean Driving licence essential
They are a property provider specialising in offices, workshops and self-storage.
As a maintenance operative, you will need to be proactive and resourceful, capable of thinking for yourself with a keen desire to provide first rate customer service. Statutory Testing/Inspections:
Ensure regular testing/inspection of Fire Safety Systems and complete the onsite fire log book
Complete temperature checks and flushing of cold and hot water systems and provide supporting paperwork to Facilities Management
Where failures are uncovered, rectify if possible, if not, report to Facilities Management
Fire door inspections
All compliance training will be provided
Minor Drainage/Plumbing repairs
Minor building works to the premises where appropriate
Ceiling and carpet tile replacement
Assist with clearance of abandoned goods after vacation of occupant from unit
Redecoration and refurbishment works to vacant units to ensure they are fit and ready to for new occupant
Removal of flooring or deep clean where damaged
Install floor finishes (carpet tiles, vinyl tiles)
Furniture moving/lifting to ensure office space has the correct number of desks/cupboards
Deep clean of all areas of units when all works completed before handover to new occupant
General Housekeeping:
Sign removal and installation
Keeping the external areas of the site litter free and in good order including the perimeter fencing/walls
Pressure wash external areas including cladding, car parks etc
Monitor quality and levels of grit bins including all stock
Van Maintenance:
Be point of contact for lease company arranging regular servicing/maintenance
Complete van checklist
Able to work alone and as a team player when required
A willingness to undertake further development and training
