Senior Investment Manager, Innovation

The client, a tech focused EIS Private Equity fund is actively seeking a skilled and entrepreneurial Investment Associate to join the esteemed team in London. This role presents an exciting opportunity to become an integral member of our innovative and dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities within the technology sector while also building your own network in the space.
Sourcing new investment opportunities: Take the lead in identifying and assessing potential investment opportunities within the technology sector, utilizing your network and market research capabilities.
~ Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, analyzing financial data, market trends, and competitive landscapes to provide informed investment recommendations.
~ Preparing investment memorandums: Prepare detailed and compelling investment memorandums and legal documentation, presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and investment committees.
~ Assist the senior investment team in executing deals, including negotiating terms, structuring transactions, and collaborating with legal and financial advisors to ensure smooth transaction processes.
~ Monitoring portfolio performance: Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of portfolio companies, identifying key trends and opportunities to enhance returns and mitigate risks.
~ Building and maintaining relationships: Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant deal experience, preferably within big 4 Corporate Finance, sell-side, or buy-side environments, with a strong understanding of legal documentation, accounting and investment processes.
~ Exhibit strong analytical abilities, with the capability to interpret complex financial data and market information to drive informed investment decisions.
~ Demonstrate a high level of motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial drive, coupled with a genuine passion for technology and innovation.
