Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire. Hybrid working applies with 3 days in the office minimum.

Where do you fit in?

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance you'll ensure we achieve our goal of being a £400m multi-dimensional revenue business by CY28. Whilst having 2 direct reports, your team plays the leading role in the annual budget process, rolling monthly forecasts and holding the business to account to ensure business & financial objectives are being met. The FP&A team also support the Executive Leadership Team in long term strategic planning and decision making. You'll manage the annual budget process, ensuring close, collaborative input from all relevant departmental heads. You'll manage the monthly variance analysis and monthly rolling re-forecasting process, with as much automation as possible. You'll design success factors against which proposed changes can be measured and model out potential strategies to develop the business. This certainly is a varied FP&A role with responsibilities across the day and specific projects. No two days will be the same and you will have a genuine scope and accountability to influence decision making.

What do you need to succeed?

  • A qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Extensive experience post PQE ideally from a big four or previous marketplace experience would be ideal
  • Strong Commercial background with expertise in Financial Modelling.
  • Sound leadership and management skills and a track record of building capability across a team and the wider business.
