Alexander Steele have partnered with a leading food manufacturing businesses in the Suffolk area. Our client is seeking for an experienced specification technologist to join the business on a permanent basis.

Writing and developing specifications for new and existing products that the business offers.
Liaise with suppliers and customers to develop and modify product specifications ensuring that they meet with the specified legal and customer requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as npd team, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to obtain necessary information for specification development.
Stay up to date with local and international food labeling regulations, including allergen and nutrition labeling.

Degree in Food Science
~1+ years of experience in a specification technologist role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
~ Experience creating and managing/writing food product specifications.
~ Strong understanding of food ingredient functionality, nutritional analysis, and allergen management.
~ Performance bonus
~28 days holiday
~ Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
