Job summary:

A-Safe is a leading provider of safety barriers and solutions for warehouses, factories, airports, and other industrial environments. We are looking for a WMS Junior Operation Administrator to join our team based in Elland. The WMS Junior Operation Administrator will be responsible for managing the warehouse management system (WMS) and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the WMS, including data entry, system configuration, troubleshooting, and reporting, whilst working closely with the operational manager/lead.
  • Ensure the WMS is aligned with the warehouse processes and procedures and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Provide training and support to the warehouse staff on how to use the WMS effectively.
  • Coordinate with the IT department and the WMS provider to resolve any technical issues or upgrade requests.
  • Generate and analyse reports on the warehouse performance, inventory, and KPIs using the WMS.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proficient in using WMS software, such as SAP, Oracle, or JDA.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and SQL.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
