Business Development Manager (Healthcare)

The role:

As we continue to grow and move into new markets, we are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager (Healthcare) to introduce new health products into new and existing broker relationships whilst supporting conversations with potential new clients. This is all with an eye on hitting and beating new business targets.

Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Introducing healthcare products to brokers and customers
  • Managing broker relationships
  • Ensure that the back-office system (Hubspot) is kept up to date
  • Attend regular 1 to 1 meetings with Head of New Products
  • Act as the middleman on queries relating to existing and new policies.
  • Review and monitor sales performance to make sure you hit targets
  • Be first point of contact for healthcare relating to the sales process
  • Work alongside the Leadership team to drive the business forward
The ideal candidate will have:
  • IF7 is desirable
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare market is essential
  • Knowledge of the Risk Market is desirable
  • Drive and ambition
  • Good organisation skills and an ability to work to deadlines
  • Understanding how the healthcare broker market works and the ability to ensure that they are well serviced
  • Understanding of how other departments work and how sales feeds into these areas
  • High level of presentation and telephone skills
  • 4 Years + of healthcare market
  • Be able to work as a team player as well as individually
