About the role:

Please note this role is UK-based, and we are unable to sponsor visas at this time.

Pinter is recruiting for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for managing the financial actions of our company, including tracking cash flow, financial planning, analysing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
  • Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Manage the company's financial resources to achieve optimal efficiency.
  • Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
  • Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions.
  • Optimise the company's financial performance, including working capital management.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with shareholders, investors, and potential investors.
  • Provide updates and reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders on financial performance and key metrics.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall strategy and decision-making.
  • Represent the company in negotiations with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

You will be a good fit it you have:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Director/CFO or in a comparable senior financial leadership role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
  • A history of delivering results on time, consistently meeting and exceeding financial targets and objectives.
  • The ability to lead a diverse team, fostering cross-departmental collaboration and driving a unified approach to achieving financial goals.
  • Decisive leadership skills, with the confidence to challenge others and be challenged in return
  • Calmness and focus under pressure, maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
  • The ability to grasp complex business dynamics and compellingly communicate the narrative behind the numbers.
  • Experience in holding the organisation accountable for financial margins and performance, ensuring financial targets are consistently met.
