As part of our committment to providing opportunities to pursue what can be a highly rewarding career we are looking to recruit three new Trainee Site Engineers to commence with us in January 2025.
Our bespoke Training Programme, developed by our dedicated Training & Quality Manager, involves a blend of on-site and "classroom" based learning, covering the fundamentals of how to be a high-calibre modern day Site Engineer, from the first principles of calcualting coordinates & bearing distances, the use of equipment (Total Stations, GPS Systems, Laser Levels) & specialist modelling software through to an in-depth understanding of Construction processes and Quality Assurance procedures.
Our customer base encompasses Top Tier National Building & Civil Engineering Contractors, Regional Main Contractors and Subcontractors including Groundworks, RC Structures and Steel Frame specialists, many of whom have relied upon the support of SEP Engineers for over 20 years. With such a variety of customers comes a variety of learning environments - as a Trainee with SEP Engineers you would be exposed to a multitude of Construction activities in a short period of time, broadening your knowledge & experience and providing a fantastic platform from which to develop your career.
We are looking for three energetic, committed, inquisitive & flexible individuals that have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Site Engineering.
Applicants should be qualified to a minimum Level 2 standard in a Construction-related activity/occupation. As part of the Training Programme (if appropriate) you would be enrolled on and supported with completion of a Level 3 course in Engineering Surveying - this provides extensive theory to compliment the practical experience gained.
Note that this is NOT an Apprenticeship - this is a Permanently employed role upon successful completion of a Probation period. You would be paid an Annual Salary and receive benefits such as a Car or Car Allowance, Pension, Paid Holidays, Healthcare, etc.
