Job Advertisement: Senior Accountant/Portfolio Holder**
Our client is a leading accounting and advisory firm, providing exceptional services to clients across various sectors. They are currently seeking a Senior Accountant/Portfolio Holder to join their Business and Private Northern Region team. This role offers the opportunity to work in their Holt and Fakenham offices with flexibility to work remotely when needed, ensuring the best work-life balance.
**Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant/Portfolio Holder to play a vital role in their team, responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality work, delivering excellent client service, and fostering a supportive team environment. Prepare accounts, business, and personal tax computations and tax returns in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Oversee and provide training to team members involved in account preparation.
- Actively seek opportunities to grow our client's business across the firm.
- Develop a deep understanding of your client base and provide tax planning advice based on legislative changes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Consistently meet deadlines while understanding the commercial implications of actions related to productivity, recoverability, fee income, and client service.
**Training:**
- Ensure compliance with all Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
- Identify training needs for personal development and share experiences to help others develop.
**Adhere to the firm's risk management policies and procedures.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
**Knowledge of cloud software products.
- Cloud certifications (Xero, QuickBooks).
**Commitment to driving technological and digital improvements.
