Building Maintenance Technician We are hiring Building maintenance team members to support a variety of bespoke accommodation sites throughout the UK. Each summer, we upgrade and prepare our locations ready for our residents. As part of the summer team, you will be assisting the on-site team get our vibrant and modern accommodation prepared and in great shape to welcome our students in September. The Package. Location: London Boroughs: Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Islington, Camden, Southwark, Wembley, Lambeth , Hammersmith, Hours: 9am - 5pm Working Pattern: Full and Part-time available Rate of Pay: £16.00 Duration: shifts available between June & September Flexible Scheduling - we will be offering a variety of shifts; you can work shifts that suit your requirements. If you have a strong trades or building maintenance background and are excited about working with our customers, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you Here's a bit about the job. You will be ensuring that the location remains safe and always looking its best, by providing a high standard of repair and maintenance service Undertake repair and maintenance tasks to a high quality including plumbing; joinery and carpentry; painting/decorating; replacement of lighting lamps/tubes and required statutory testing Running weekly fire alarm and emergency lighting checks Logging maintenance requests, H&S hazards and stock requests as required. People who are dedicated to working safely, and to the highest possible standard at all times Experience in undertaking repairs and maintenance in a residential environment or experience in any of the following trades: building, plumbing or carpentry.
