As a Mechanical Structural Engineer, you will join our team in Derby/Warrington to support our activities within the Energy (Nuclear) sector.
Design and engineer metal structures, skid structures, and mechanical modules in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Conduct structural analyses and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of designed structures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structural designs into larger project frameworks.
Participate in design reviews to evaluate and refine concepts, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for construction and installation.
Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, effectively managing workload and timelines.
Proficiencyin formal English report writing
cranes, lifting equipment, naval, frames)
Ability to adapt and thrive in a hybrid working environment in Derby or Warrington
Passionate about engineering
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
~5-15 years of experience in mechanical structural design engineering.
~ Proven track record of designing metal structures, skid structures, and mechanical modules.
~ Experience in conducting structural analyses and calculations.
~ Exposure to project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
