MacGregor Black are partnering with a Food Manufacturing business on the search for a Regional Buyer UKI & Europe . This is a permanentrole based in Chiswick .

As Regional Buyer UKI & Europe, you will be focused ondelivering world class results and a competitive advantage to thecompany. You will contribute to the development of the Regionalcategory strategy, whilst leading the sourcing cycle and bringing inbreakthrough ideas through outstanding approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver cost reduction projects across regional spends anddrive value improvement initiatives throughout the category.
  • Engage proactively with team members to understand currentand future requirements and align on a unified approach.
  • Build and execute regional category strategies to delivercost reduction, supply continuity, innovation sustainability benefits.
  • Provide information and impact assessments for GlobalProcurement teams to support Global procurement strategies and plansand execute them for the region.
  • Act in accordance with andbring to life the One Procurement Community (OPC) to enable pladisJourney to Procurement Excellence (JPE)
  • Undertake broadprocurement responsibilities across category strategy and supplychain.

What do you need for thisrole?

  • Previous experience withinIndirect Procurement
  • Excellent knowledge of sourcingpractices and ability to lead end to end sourcing process
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and influencing skillswith a confident demeanor
  • Positive demeanor and ability tomake things happen to deliver outstanding results
  • Proficientproject and organisational change capabilities
  • Stronganalytical and quantitative skills
  • Experience in ProfessionalServices, HR, Travel, or IT categories
  • Experience with SAP
