As a Buyer, you will be accountable for all supplier negotiations in line with the category strategy, for all suppliers within your remit. You will need to have great relationship building skills, working closely with our supplier partners and internal business areas and use your influencing skills to secure support to drive the business forward.

You will have the responsibility to develop and manage an Assistant Buyer line report, with a key focus on their growth within the business, understanding of our ways of working alongside sustainable wellness.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is a keen problem-solver with an eye for detail and strong commercial acumen. **Your key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure that the category is always striving for a market leading range
- Establish credible relationships with suppliers to ensure the best cost, best supply and best delivery for our customers
- Be aware of the marketplace activity and innovations. Using this information to ensure that the category is performing
- Working side by side with the merchandisers to ensure all metrics are hit across sales and stock

**You will need**:

- Experience at Buyer level with knowledge and experience of: Supplier negotiation, Supplier relationship management
- Good commercial awareness and appreciation of customer needs
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel
