Location: Corby, Northants with hybrid working – our Commercial teams typically collaborate onsite with each other on a Monday and Tuesday , there will also need to be flexibility for being on site on other days throughout the week based on business requirementsRole Type: Permanent, full time In a newly created role, you’ll play a pivotal role in leveraging data to inform marketing and communications strategies, with a prime focus on product, pricing, and digital performance metrics. You’ll bring existing knowledge of platforms like Google Analytics, CRM or other marketing platforms to develop reports and dashboards the track agreed KPIs across our marketing campaigns along with producing insight to drive data-driven decision making and improved campaign performance. Day to day you'll also:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the weight management and wellbeing industries
- Provide actionable insights on product performance, pricing strategies, and pricing elasticity metrics to inform decision-making and optimise revenue generation
- Analyse customer segmentation data to identify opportunities for targeted marketing and personalised communications
- Conduct ROI analysis to understand the impact of incentives on sales and business performance
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communications initiatives, providing recommendations for optimisation based on data insights
We’re on a data journey here so you’ll need to be comfortable in an environment that isn’t the finished article, we’re navigating how to fully harness data capabilities and realise its full potential, so bringing a proactive mindset to driving incremental continuous improvement along with being resilient will be key as you help us achieve our strategic goals.
Am I right the right person for this role?You’ll have a passion for telling stories with data, that comes through demonstrable experience of creating and delivering commercial analysis and insight in a marketing/product environment that has contributed to business success. Technically, you'll be confident in the use of data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) and statistical analysis languages (e.g. Python, R). Other key success factors include:
- Experience in assessing marketing performance across predominantly digital but some offline channels
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation
- Being proactive in nature, seeking out information and not be afraid to ask the right questions or challenge the status quo
- Experience in forecasting trends and conducting ROI analysis
- Be self-motivated and pro-active in nature, prioritising tasks and working within a fast-paced environment
