IAPT Counsellor – NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Talking Therapies
Whatever service we deliver to help people to change their lives, we do things the Big Life Way .
Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale Talking Therapies is a mental health and a wellbeing service which offers; Therapy groups, Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Clinical Psychology, and pre-therapy support for clients that may have complex social issues. The service is funded by the Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG). The office for Thinking Ahead is based at the Lock 50 Business Centre in Rochdale, with the Big Life head office based in Hulme, Manchester.
As a IAPT counsellor, you will be involved in engaging with the residents and professionals of Heywood Middleton and Rochdale (HMR) to help raise awareness of our wellbeing service and how we can meet the needs of the local community. As someone who is passionate about mental health and wellbeing, you will have a key role of engaging with the local population and will help more people to access the support that they need, when they need it.
You will provide counselling support to a varied and complex case load.
You will provide treatment over the phone, face to face and via video platform (Zoom or WhatsApp).
A fixed term contract for 1 year, 37.25 days holiday, and 30 once you’ve been here five years.
