Mental Health Assistant – Headington
Are you interested in supporting children with Mental Health issues in schools?
An outstanding specialist school for children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs based in Headington are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to support children with behaviour and mental health issues. Ideally the Mental Health Assistant will be a Graduate - relevant degrees include Psychology, Counselling or Criminology but other subjects will also be considered The SEN School is in Headington and the role is full-time starting ASAP or in September 2023. The SEN children are aged 4 to 11 and require consistent, ongoing support in order to ensure they have the highest quality of care and child-centred support.
This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for a Mental Health Assistant to work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school. Plus you will gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues. Mental Health Assistant - Aspiring Therapist or Educational Psychologist
