As an Economist, you will monitor, analyse, report and advise on economic, fiscal and market developments affecting the automotive industry in the UK and globally. In your first few weeks in this economic analyst role, you can expect to: Research and analyse key economic, sector and transport data and statistics Monitor, evaluate and brief on key research reports on the economic agendas Maintain appropriate data management processes (data capture, reporting & analysis) Support strategic development of SMMT economic data sets and their use Provide data and analytical input to policy development and political communication.
