Our UK audit practice is built of over 2300 people working across 24 locations, led by Fiona Baldwin and supported by 50 audit partners. Our Commercial Audit team in the Birmingham region works with clients which operate across a wide variety of sectors including manufacturing, distribution, retail and technology. Our main focus is on the mid-market working with private equity backed and privately owned businesses. In addition, one of the firm’s centres of excellence is based in Birmingham through which a team focus on Public Interest Entity audits including listed entities and large private groups. This means Birmingham is uniquely placed to offer both mid-market and listed entity audits.

As an Audit Senior Manager within our Commercial Audit service line, you will:
Be responsible for a large portfolio of audit clients
Solve complex technical matters for our clients, and project manage client work
Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities through training and pitching new projects
Joining us as an Audit Senior Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post qualification experience, and to be confident managing a large portfolio of audit clients. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
Experience of managing audits of large companies in addition to dealing with complex technical matters
Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies would be beneficial
Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
