Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to join our team and oversee the successful completion of our construction projects. This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Manager at Prime Phenix. The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating project timelines and schedules, managing budgets, ensuring construction safety compliance, and controlling project progress. The role also involves supervising construction teams and ensuring successful project delivery within specified timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to review plans and specifications
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets
  • Secure permits and ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations
  • Procure materials and equipment
  • Hire, supervise, and motivate subcontractors and construction crews
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control
  • Monitor project progress and identify and address any potential issues proactively
  • Manage project budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
  • Ensure a safe work environment and enforce all safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager
  • Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Scheduling software: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project
  • Proficient in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD)
  • Proficient in Cost estimating software (e.g., Planswift, CostX)
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
