With your expertise in Azure cloud services and JavaScript, you will lead the team in adopting best practices, while working closely with the Director of Technology & Innovation to align project goals with the company's strategic vision. Serve as the primary interface between developers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
Oversee and manage deployments to production environments, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
Coordinate and manage project timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met on schedule.
Report on project status, challenges, and progress to the Director of Technology & Innovation and other senior stakeholders.
Monitor team performance and project outcomes, with a focus on improving efficiency and software quality.
Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, particularly in the use of Azure and JavaScript.
8+ years’ experience of software development.
5+ years experience using Microsoft Azure to deliver applications across the full stack.
5+ years experience of Azure Functions, Service Bus and API management.
5+ years experience using JavaScript/Nodejs.
React/Nextjs are frontend Libraries in use.
Design, build and maintenance of APIs using REST/Graph/etc.
