Job Title: Senior Product Developer

British American Tobacco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Developer to lead technology development workstreams for our oral product category. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and delivering projects that meet our commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technology development workstreams for BAT's oral product category
  • Collaborate with partner groups to ensure solutions align with our commercial strategy
  • Develop and deliver innovation projects using existing and novel technologies
  • Navigate emerging regulatory requirements and file intellectual property rights
  • Work with a senior product developer, senior technologist, and broader team of product developers
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field of study (e.g., Chemistry, Food Science, Technology Science, Materials Science, Engineering)
  • Industry experience in product development (preferred)
  • Understanding of project timescales and contribution to the R&D innovation pipeline
