Signature Recruitment is partnering with a well-respected London school to find a permanent Senior Finance Administrator to join their high-functioning office-based team. Following an enhanced DBS check, this role will start immediately. In this multifaceted position of finance and logistics, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth operation of the school. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks. As a Senior Finance Administrator, your days will be a dynamic mix of financial tasks, decisive logistical provision, and direct interaction with the school community. Mornings might involve mastering the school’s finance system, while afternoons could see you working on the intricate duty rota or assisting staff and parents with enquiries. Your organisational skills will be essential. You will be a key player in ensuring a smooth operation, especially during the crucial GCSE period. This role is the perfect opportunity for a bright, motivated and self-sufficient individual to launch their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Senior Finance Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial processes using the school’s SAGE system (training provided).
  • Process invoices, raise purchase orders, and reconcile credit cards.
  • Assist with managing the school duty rota and assist with creating timetables during the GCSE period.
  • Provide administrative and reception support to staff, parents, and students.
  • Show confidence in tracking school assets and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager and other staff to ensure smooth operations.

Senior Finance Administrator Key Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets and comfortable navigating new software (SAGE system).
  • Excellent communication and relational skills to interact confidently with diverse audiences.
