We have an exciting opportunity to join Olympus in the position of Uptime Support Manager
This is achieved by educating and persuading end users to improve the care and handling of a wide range of medical devices to prevent avoidable equipment damage.
Account Management
Regularly visit all customers on your territory, build relationships based on trust and rapport and provide ongoing customer support.
Data Analysis
Analyse repair trends to provide bespoke support aimed at reducing repairs.
Training and Education
Delivering exciting and engaging training sessions to groups of 2 to 50 (groups of 4 to 10 is the norm) using various methods such as group activities, hands on sessions, games, formal presentations and quizzes.
Your team “Uptime Support” is part of the wider Medical Service Business Unit (MSBU) comprising of Field Engineers, Field Service coordinators and Service contract sales territory managers.
As a key member of the Uptime Support Department, you will be an integral part of an exciting and highly motivated team of field-based individuals focusing mainly on Endoscopes and Endoscopic Decontamination Equipment. As an important ambassador for Olympus, you will often be the first point of contact for our customers helping them through various situations which could ultimately affect the day to day running of the department and services offered to the patient. These types of issues include avoidable endoscope damage resulting in repairs, new starter training or understanding the correct method to clean an endoscope. In doing so effectively you will be helping ensure the delivery of vital medical procedures can continue wherever possible. What you will be doing Achieving Repair Plan (company plan for repairs) Customer Visits target (minimum level of Customer Visits) Uptime Percentage Target (percentage of time equipment is available for clinical use) Visit your customers ensuring they are following the correct processes, suggesting changes and delivering training, following up on each session to ensure learning points have been understood and implemented
Working closely with your in-field colleagues to ensure all future sales opportunities are maximised by helping them bring in new business and strengthening existing relationships Analyse repair data to highlight hospitals/departments requiring specific focus/repair reduction support Provide end user training and installation support for our range of Endoscopic Decontamination Equipment Carry out onsite customer audits of equipment and processes Record details of every customer visit on our CRM database ensuring all teams are aware of your work at that site Meeting up with your Manager on a monthly basis to review progress and discuss the impact you are having on the sites in your area
• Valid UK driving licence
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships
• Experience with MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work flexibly i.e. stay late or work weekends as the customer requires
