Plumbing and Heating Engineer (Reactive Maintenance) - Coventry Area

We are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team, focusing on reactive maintenance work within the Coventry area. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to handle a variety of maintenance tasks in domestic settings without the requirement for emergency call-outs.

Key Details:

  • Location : Coventry, West Midlands
  • Salary : £40,000 to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Work Type : Full-time, Permanent
  • Jobs per Day : Approximately 5-7

Role Overview: The selected candidate will be responsible for performing reactive maintenance work, addressing and resolving issues across a range of plumbing and heating systems in domestic properties. This position does not involve emergency call-out duties, allowing for a predictable and balanced work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs on plumbing and heating systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed jobs and materials used.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and company standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in plumbing and heating maintenance, with a strong background in domestic environments.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in plumbing and heating engineering.
  • Gas Safe registration is highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
