Senior Product Manager Remote UK to £85k Are you a tech savvy Product Manager looking for an opportunity to take ownership, working on complex and interesting systems? You could be joining a scale-up tech company within the Geospatial space.
The company has around eighteen satellites and radars that record images and data of the Earth, they collect vast amounts of data, as a Product Manager you will help the company to productionise that data and provide actionable insights. They are currently developing systems that will help to provide alerts on floods, wildfires and wind / hurricane events - this can be used by insurance companies and for government organisations. The possibilities of the technology are vast.
As a Senior Product Manager you'll collaborate with internal stakeholders to represent the customer, define the product roadmap and ensure successful delivery, partnering closely with software engineering teams to make decisions about implementation and resource trade-offs and manage technical projects.
This is a stand-alone role where you'll take ownership and establish / promote the correct policies and procedures around Product Management.
Location / WFH:
You can work remotely from anywhere in the UK with the caveat that you'll meet up with the team once a quarter for a week at a time at the Helsinki, Finland head office (expenses paid).
You have experience of collaborating and managing software engineering teams through to delivery
You have experience of transitioning R&D projects into production
You have experience with data heavy tech products
You're likely to be degree educated, although commercial experience is more valued
