Are you ready for your next role within international Supply Chain, where you will be a key contributor to our growing team and business? Do you have experience developing planning parameters to successfully procure materials efficiently? If so, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our Supply Chain department and are seeking a Material Planner to join us.

You will be a valuable support and key member of the team to help us continue to drive growth within Mirus. This role will have the freedom to take ownership of the responsibilities given from raising Purchase Orders to ensuring effective and efficient deliveries occur as planned, developing key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will help create an effective way to understand and mitigate supply risks to the business and develop a plan to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in risk reduction, communicating to all areas of the business.

Additionally the role will include inventory control of raw material stocks and management of the MRP system to ensure parts are available as needed by the Business.

Develop appropriate planning parameters within the ERP / MRP system to procure raw materials efficiently. This will consider supply risk, lead-time, efficient ordering quantities and the development of an effective inventory policy.
Works effectively with key supply chains in Asia, Europe and the UK to minimise the total cost of supply to Mirus.
Ensures data in ERP is maintained effectively.
Establishing a dynamic stock control process which supports internal build requirements but projects the business from excess stock procurement.
Understand and manage supplier capacity to ensure supply risks are identified and managed. Takes proactive measures to address risks before they impact supply.
Maintain effective and positive working relationships within Supply Chain and across the business.
Any other activities necessary to ensure the Supply Chain group delivers its objectives.

To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will bring your administrative and Operational experience within a Supply Chain/Procurement capacity, an aptitude to completing tasks efficiently, problem solving abilities, demonstrable skills to deliver effective support along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:
Experience in purchasing, supply chain, materials control, logistics or expediting
Experience of operating within aerospace and/or automotive industries
Understanding of Logistics and Incoterms
Able to contribute to planning meetings across the wider business to ensure Supply Chain are embedded in this process
Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics BC ERP systems is preferred although training will be given as required

Demonstratable strong attention to detail - able to use data to inform decisions and constructively challenge colleagues
Thrive in a challenging environment, be approachable, collaborative and have a flexible attitude
