A fantastic opportunity to work for a large M&E Service Provider who are recruiting for a HVAC Maintenance Engineer to work at a large site based in Guildford, Surrey . This is a permanent position paying a salary of £38,000 per annum. Overtime opportunities and fantastic opportunities for career progression. Job Role: You will be required to work between Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm with overtime opportunities available. Engineers are expected to be very technically strong with great fault finding abilities and a desire to work in a demanding yet rewarding environment. The role of a HVAC Maintenance Engineer is to carry out the servicing and reactive repairs to HVAC services. Additionally the engineer will be expected to assist other trades as directed by the operations supervisor. Carry out routines unsupervised (PPM and reactive), diagnose and repair faults on electrical and building services (L8, AHU maintenance, fire alarms, lighting testing, lighting repairs, pumps, motors, heating system fault finding and awareness (Heat exchangers, actuators, pipe work) Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to;

  • Emergency lighting
  • AHU’s, FCU’s
  • Pumps, Motors
  • Plumbing
  • Fans, Belts, Filters
  • General maintenance
Skills Required: The successful candidate must have:
  • With at least 3 years experience in electrical building services
  • Full UK CLEAN Driving Licence
  • F Gas cat 1 certificate
  • Ideally a City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent
  • Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
