Our client:
- When it comes to developing category leading food brands and being recognized for leading innovation then they don’t come much bigger than this food manufacturer.
- With their continued investment into their brands and people it’s no wonder they are held in such high regard by their competitors and customers.
- Clearly, this food group is not small. In fact, they boast some of the most powerful brands in the grocery industry. With compelling growth plans, they are now looking to strengthen an already first-class category team
Some of the responsibilities of the Category Executive include:
- Working closely with the Category and Sales teams to create any necessary regular reports using customer data sources
- The Category Executive will work with the merchandising team to build capabilities, develop fixture plans and develop relationships with the retailers merchandising team
- As Category Executive you will be an expert across all information sources, working with and analyzing market data
- Building strong cross-functional relationships – internal / external
- Provide actionable insights to both internal and external stakeholders
To be successful as Category Executive you will be:
- Retail, Agency or FMCG manufacturer experienced
- Highly numerate
- Computer literate
- Technical skills in data manipulation
- Analytical ability & naturally inquisitive
- Ability to present data and insights in a concise and insightful manner
- Good organisation & communication skills
