You will be joining a team of 4 Orthoptists , 2 Orthoptic Assistants and 2 Admin Assistants to undertake general Orthoptic only and joint Consultant clinics.
Newly qualified Orthoptists are welcome to apply.

- Registration with Health Care Professions Council obtained or pending exam results
- Clinical Tutors Qualification
- Experience as an orthoptist
- Evidence of CPD
- Glaucoma, VF, OCT experience
- Demonstrate flexible approach to care.
- Effective Communication
- Ability to work in a multi-skilled environment
- Computer literate
- Prioritise workload
- Reflective practice
- Awareness and Knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
- Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework: Patient Centred Safety Compassion Respect Excellence
- Identifies training needs for own development and service development
- Reflective practice
- Teaching skills/presentation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
