We are looking for an ambitious, motivated and talented manager to own, lead and develop our project delivery function
We are looking for a number of ambitious, motivated and talented Delivery Managers to join our team delivering IT solutions to our clients. We are looking for people with exposure to and experience in a range of cloud technologies, including but not restricted to:
Successful candidates will preferably have experience in consulting environments.

Training and Development In addition to a competitive rewards package, a tailored development plan will be delivered to suit the needs of the individual and will cover all aspects of the role, including technical and non-technical skills. Support will be provided to gain certifications and accreditations.

The Role
Playing a key role in our delivery team, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, managing and developing Delivery team members within Alscient, leading to the successful delivery of quality outcomes for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to and experience in a range of cloud technologies, including but not restricted to:
Successful candidates will preferably have experience in consulting environments.
This job requires travel to client sites and other company offices.
Key Responsibilities:• Requirements gathering and converting the client’s business problems into scalable solutions using your methodical outlook and good documentation skills
• Responsible for making sure projects are delivered on time and to the client’s/Alscient’s expectations, with a keen focus on quality
• Responsible for managing delivery team members, including Business Analysts and Developers
• Being a team-player, with a proven ability to negotiate and drive consensus, whilst promoting good communication within the team with specific regard to management of tasks, risks and issues
• Ensuring the solution is architecturally sound, well designed, is a good technical fit and of the required quality
• Responsible for the correct choice of tools and technologies
• Always represent and promote the core company values
• Minimum 5+ years experience in IT solution delivery
• Broad technology background with an understanding of cloud technologies and the delivery challenges they bring
• Experience mentoring and supporting delivery team members. You will be a “people person” and a very strong team player, and you’ll know how to encourage a team to achieve its technical goals and hit deadlines
• A desire to grow your career – you’ll be the sort of person who is always up for a challenge, interested to learn new things and gain new experience
• A flexible, can-do approach
• Outstanding communication skills; you’ll be confident discussing technical matters with both technical and non-technical people
• Comfortable providing presales support including the analysis of client requirements, establishing a baseline solution, development and presentation of proposals
• Experience of delivering software development projects in a consultancy environment.
