This isinitially a short term Logistics Engineering Solution Design Managerrole, covering the early concept phases of a potentially large scalelogistics project.We are looking for a proven Logistics leader, withbroad knowledge of logistic engineering solutions, processes, systemsand equipment and latest market trends.Covering, but not limited to;In-plant logistics processes, lineside delivery methods, storagemedia, kitting strategies, AGVs and handling equipment.Knowledge andexperience of supporting requirements gathering, solution and layoutdesigns, business case creation, right through to delivery and finalproject completionKey Accountabilities andResponsibilities:

Contribute to the robust programme deliveryand strategy execution to support a flawless programmelaunchFacilitate the collaboration of colleagues on the development oflogistics requirements and material flow strategies, ensuring that thecompany are adopting Best in Class Logistics solutions for new vehicleprogrammes.Drive the development of cost submissions for programmesinvestment, marketplace space etc.Design and improve processes ofmoving material throughout the factory and warehouse includinglineside material presentation, warehouse design/ optimisation,development of lean logistics solutions.Create/Influence efficientline side, kitting zone and warehouse layouts.Use benchmarking andother research methods to identify potential opportunities for thelatest technology and methodologies to drive Best in ClasssolutionsContribute to the development of layout plans for decks,market place and lineside in support of changes in model, volume,shift patternsYou will have to establish business requirement / engagewith stakeholders and customers alike and present sound logisticsengineering solutions.These will require elements of financejustification and once approved you will lead the end result throughto delivery, where relevant.Thus, you will need to be proactive inyour approach and develop relationships with a number of internal andexternal stakeholders to drive the end result, in line with thecompany Creator's Code.These projects will include all aspects ofSustainability and Health & Safety and as the company is a keenpromoter of both, these will be top on the list.This is a highlydemanding role with green field opportunities providing opportunitiesfor international travel and a sense of autonomy and control over yourworkSkills & Experience Required:
