The Role : As an Area Sales Manager covering the North of England, you will be responsible for specifying quick-connect fluid connectors and couplers into OEMs within the chemical, electrical, agricultural, medical and food and beverage sector. As part of a specification-led sell, the Area Sales Manager will take on the role of a product specialist in an area spanning Birmingham and North of the country towards to Scottish border, with a specific focus in specifying in a product range owned by a US established supplier. The quick connect coupler product range is renowned for its durability and reliability and sold solely through our client and their well-established business in the UK.

The area is well developed and has been performing well over the last few years. You will have the opportunity to further grow the area and the product range's sales, speaking with decision makers across the lifecycle of a project. Initially the sell will be through specifying with design houses, but you will also be involved with speaking with key decision makers in the prototyping, compliance and production phase. This superb role is for someone who has experience of this type of sales process, understands and appreciates pneumatics and is keen to become part of an excellent company.

For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Must have an understanding and track record of selling through specification to OEMs
  • Ideal candidates are those who come from a pneumatics background or alternatively mechanical or hydraulic
  • Have an understanding and appreciation for a project sales approach
  • Organized and independent
  • Clean driving license
