Position Overview: We are in search of a dedicated Estate Planner who will be responsible for conducting in-home consultations to assist clients in drafting and creating wills. The ideal candidate will take the time to thoroughly understand clients' requirements, providing personalised guidance on the use of wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney to protect their estate and loved ones. A compassionate and meticulous approach to documentation is essential in ensuring clients' wishes are accurately recorded Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth consultations during in-home visits to assess clients' unique needs, assets, and preferences for estate planning. Guide clients through the legal aspects of will creation, addressing questions and concerns with clarity and expertise. Collaborate with legal teams and resources to stay informed about current estate planning laws and regulations. Maintain detailed records to track client information, preferences, and legal documentation. Provide support with online wills and other services within the company when required. Deliver exceptional customer service by offering ongoing support and addressing post-visit inquiries or adjustments. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in estate planning to enhance service deliver Requirements: Comfortable with remote work, with an opportunity to visit the Head Office once a quarter. Hold a full UK driving license and willingness to travel around North West. STEP qualification preferred. Proficiency in writing wills and understanding legalities. Knowledge of lasting powers of attorney (LPAs). Ability to identify indicators of concerns related to clients' testamentary capacity. High levels of empathy, discretion, and care. Active listening skills and the ability to understand customers' needs. Proactive & capable of initiating tasks independently while effectively following instructions. Flexible schedule to accommodate home visits based on clients' availability.
