The Role: As Marketing Director, you will be developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, overseeing integrated marketing campaigns, and driving brand growth and awareness.
Collaborate with Co-Founders to craft a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and brand vision;
Direct the execution of marketing strategies across various channels in coordination with team members;
Lead a team of marketing professionals to plan, implement, and refine integrated marketing campaigns spanning digital, social media, email, influencers, and events.
Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all touchpoints and campaigns;
Work closely with cross-functional teams (product development, sales, finance) to ensure marketing efforts support overall business goals and product launches;
Utilize market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to shape marketing strategies and product development;
Supervise the creation of compelling creative assets and content that resonate with target audiences and reinforce brand identity;
Promote the brand story effectively across various platforms in engaging ways.
Manage marketing budgets and resources to maximize ROI and efficiency;
Analyze campaign performance for actionable insights for continuous improvement .
Spearheaded the selection, initiation, and oversight of external agencies and vendors, encompassing advertising agencies, PR firms, and creative studios;
Cultivate and sustain relationships with agency partners, guaranteeing alignment with brand values, objectives, and standards;
Offer precise direction, constructive feedback, and strategic guidance to agencies to ensure the delivery of top-tier work aligned with brand objectives;
Collaborate closely with agencies to devise inventive campaign concepts, creative assets, and marketing materials;
Handle contract negotiations and agreements with agencies, overseeing budgets and ensuring cost efficiency;
Monitor agency performance, track key performance indicators, and assess their contribution to marketing endeavours;
Serve as the primary contact between the brand and agency partners, fostering transparent communication and collaborative synergy.
. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field; MBA is advantageous;
At least 10 years of marketing experience, focusing on brand management, strategic planning, and team leadership, ideally within the sportswear or athletic apparel sector;
Demonstrated success in devising and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, attract customers, and boost revenue;
Profound comprehension of digital marketing platforms, analytics, and performance metrics;
Proficiency in data analysis, enabling the interpretation of data, extraction of insights, and formulation of data-driven decisions;
Salary: £75,000 per annum plus bonus and share options. #
