We have a fantastic opportunity for a results driven, confident and commercial individual to join Petroineos Trading Limited (London) as a Quantitative Researcher (QR) based in our London office. The QR will focus on supporting Traders (Crude) to develop and optimise trading models, conduct research and coordinate with fundamental analyst to fine tune insights into the market. This will include developing AI and mathematical models to interpret market behaviour and generate trading signals, conducting research and analysis to detect market regime and identify market inefficiencies, work in collaboration with trader and strategies to back-test trading strategies using historical data to evaluate performance and robustness including the coordination with fundamental analyst to contribute fundamental opinions and assumptions.

working in a quantitative trading / analysis type role with a job focus on energy markets, machine learning, statistical techniques and related libraries would be highly valued.
