We are recruiting Production Operatives for our client based near Blackwood, Newport and our client is holding a two day induction on 18th and 19th September 2024. Role: Production Operatives Location: Near Blackwood Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Working Pattern: Full Time, Continental shift pattern - it is important that you have the flexibility to work both day and night shifts including weekends and bank holidays. Working hours are 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am Start Dates: ASAP if successful from the induction on 18th and 19th September Hourly Rate: £11.44ph Due to the location and the working hours, you should have access to private transport Responsibilities Visually and physically check all products to conform to product quality specifications and document where appropriate During inspection, detect any product defects which occur on a consecutive basis to be reported to Line Supervision. Operate processing equipment where necessary Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance where necessary Maintain GMP standards in all aspects of the role Support the development of "Lean Manufacturing" within the department.
