The Role

This role will suit someone with a codingbackground so they understand the requirements of the business and can discussthe issues with the webdevs team. There will be some hands-on coding required,but this will also be performed by a talented team of WordPress developers thatyou will manage. You will be responsible for the career progression, growth andmotivation of the development team.

The lead technical deliverymanager will collaborate with the traffic manager and team leads to ensure allwork/projects have a complete brief, priority and alignment with businessgoals.

We're looking for someone who must have

  • Delivery focus iskey in this role, along with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong coding skills in PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS
  • An agile mindset withthe ability to mentor others in agile ways of working (estimation, planning,reporting)
  • An ability/experienceof traditional Business Analysis, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master and c omfortable withfast-paced Agile/Scrum environments
  • Is able to e xecute, and estimatetechnical delivery whilst working in partnership with the traffic manager
  • An ability to initiate,conceptualise and complete projects while creating the relevant tickets, sothat the team can deliver the required assets to enable/complete the project
  • Experience c ollaborating withother teams to resolve blockers, and ensure creative, design artifacts arelined up with the development workstreams
  • Experience m anaging technicalrequirements, planning, backlog, and delivery
  • P roactive problem-solving skills who can see the bigger picture and gain alignment and a path todelivery/success
  • Experience m anaging the growth,motivation and career progression of the developers in the team
  • Strong analytical,prioritisation, and negotiating skills
  • Passionate aboutbuilding great products and solving customer and business problems
  • Experience with our workflow tool Jira,including epics, stories, and sprints
  • Excellent communicationskills/digital technical expertise so you can communicate goals,responsibilities, objectives, roles and processes.
